Linda Eaves, the owner, has every intention of making this the best sewing store in central NJ!  More than just a quilt fabric shop, Linda offers garment sewing classes, Janome sewing machines, and much much more in addition to the required quilting staples of beautiful quilting fabrics, patterns, and classes!  She has just moved from her tiny shop in Englishtown into a much larger store a few miles away in Manalapan, NJ.  I have taught several classes here over the past year and hope to teach a few more!  Check out their website and especially the class schedule!

Kaleidoscope Collections

The makers of my new favorite toy! Kaleidoscope Kreator 3  This is the software I used to create my recent quilt, "Quilt Show Kaleidoscope"   It is truly addictive software!  Import an image into the software and go crazy creating infinte variations of kaleidoscopes.  They can be printed out in any size on paper or my favorite, EQ Printables!  Their website and blog are rich with tutorials and project ideas!  Just be warned...it's like eating potato chips!  Once you start, it will be hard to stop!

Linda Hahn, owner of Frog Hollow Designs

Linda is a good friend and the author of New York Beauty Simplified (published by AQS) which came out earlier this year.  Linda has developed a fool proof technique to create those gorgeous New York Beauty Blocks.  The book is full of step by step diagrams and beautiful quilts.  It is is truly eye candy!  Linda is almost always on the road teaching this and her other great classes! If you love antique textiles, you need to visit this site!  Material Pleasures (gotta love that name!) is owned by Dana Balsamo, a fellow guild member and incredibly knowledgeable  woman about antique textiles.  You can ususally catch her vending quilt shows, as well as many antique shows. She is also an appraiser! Please check out her website for more information! 

Pride of the Prairie Quilters
